ANIMAL WELFARE GRANT APPLICATION
• Priority funding areas include, but are not limited to, care for dogs and cats; disaster relief for personal pets; training of service animals for the elderly and disabled; and protection of marine mammals and local wildlife.
• Grants may be awarded to support general operations, specific programs, and/or capital projects.
• Typical grant awards range from $5,000 to $15,000.
• Grantees must be able to demonstrate that they are recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and as public charities as defined within the Code.
• Grant applications should be submitted online through Vesta Fund's grants management system at:
https://glenmede.smartsimple.com/welcome/vesta.
• Incomplete applications will not be considered.
• Grantees can only apply for funding once per given year (ie, 12 months from the last application approach, regardless of past funding decisions).
• Grantees, regardless of headquarters or locations of administrative offices, must provide direct constituent services for animals within Pennsylvania's Bucks, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.
• Grant awards are competitive and not all grant requests will be funded.
